Para mí la respuesta a esta pregunta, durante mucho tiempo, ha sido: NO, no me cabe ni un alfiler.
Es lo más normal del mundo, estamos acostumbrados a comprar por impulso, a recoger todo regalo que nos den y a deshacernos de casi nada, en definitiva, no sabemos decir que no.
A mí me ha pasado esto durante mucho tiempo y digo «me ha pasado» porque me he vuelto aficionada a hacer descarte y lo hago con alegría. Y cómo lo hago? Pues he de decirte que ha sido un proceso largo ya que cuando entré en el mundo del orden, con esto me refiero a leer todos los libros de orden que se me ponían por delante, yo guardaba todo, por si acaso, por si me vuelve a valer, por si se vuelve a llevar, por si se lo puedo regalar a alguien….
Te voy a contar como llegué hasta el punto de tener un armario que me hace feliz, que solo hay prendas que realmente me encantan y me he liberado de ese sentimiento de pena que me hacía guardar cosas que no me gustaban.
Hay una regla que sigo a rajatabla, se llama DAN-SHA-RI, fue uno de los primeros libros que me leí, de Hideko Yamashita, autora del libro y una de las mujeres que me inspiran. Este libro te cuenta el significado de la palabra DAN-SHA-RI, que en japonés significa «DAN rechazar las cosas innecesarias, SHA deshacerse de las cosas inútiles, RI detectar el deseo insano por las cosas innecesarias». Con esto ya conoces la regla que hace que mi armario me encante y ya no acumule nada.
Llegar a aplicar la regla empezó por hacer un trabajo con cada prenda que tenía en el armario, y está claro que siempre habrá alguna cosa de la que no nos vamos deshacer. A mi me pasa con el vestidito con el que salieron mis hijas del hospital al nacer, pero ahora no está en ningún armario olvidado, ahora está en la caja de mis recuerdos.
Otra cosa que me ayuda mucho a identificar lo que me compro o con lo que me quedo al hacer el descarte es «sentir». Sentir si esa prenda realmente me hace feliz, me identifica, la necesito. Si no siento ninguna de esas cosas entonces, para qué la quiero?
